Styling Work: Sonoma Farmhouse
I'm going to play catch up with my recent styling work and post them here and there between what's happening in real time. One of my favorite projects was styling the gorgeous Sonoma farmhouse designed by homeowner, Jann Blazona for Country Living Magazine. Every bit of her home was perfection and she had a true passion for collecting, which made my job so much fun! I was like a kid in a candy store with all those props at the ready. One of my favorites was the vintage peach juice pitcher in the photo above. Not to mention the amazing collection of ironstone in her cabinets!
Stylish Weddings Book
I'm excited to share a recent book project I had the opportunity to work on...Stylish Weddings: 50 Simple Ideas to Make from Top Designers by my friend Jenny Doh. The book is divided into 6 Chapters/Designers, with each devoted to a different style wedding, along with easy diy projects and ideas. It is full of inspirational content that could easily be adapted to all forms of party and entertaining celebrations.
For my contribution, I was asked to create Romantic and Pretty wedding ideas and decided to incorporate them into a bridal shower luncheon.
Recent Styling Work: Country Living
I had the pleasure of styling the home of my friend, Serena Thompson, for this months issue of Country LIving. Plenty of natural elements, traditional red and green plaids, and a little whimsy were thrown in for good measure. And just so you know...the cake in the photo below was Delicious! Seriously yummy. We almost never eat props, but this was an exception!
Recent Styling Work: Texas Ranch
With my bonkers schedule during summer and early fall, I forgot to share with you one of my favorite styling assignments. This Texas ranch house, owned by Susie Clark, had an amazing before & after transformation. You can see more photos, including the before shots (and paint colors) over at Country Living. What she's done with the place is incredible!
Recent Styling Work: Country Living
Garden parties are at the top of my list for entertaining. Everyone is more relaxed and outdoor dining tends to make even simple fare seem sumptuous. In this months July/August issue of Country Living, I had the chance to style a whimsical garden party filled with botanical inspirations. It was a great collaboration with the team in NY, and is filled with easy to do, affordable decorations and menu ideas.
Recent Styling Work
I had the privilege of styling a home feature for the June issue of Country Living Magazine. The Ojai, California home of Greg and Kelley Motschenbacher has been lovingly updated and restored since the couple purchased it in 2008. It's inspiring to see how they enhanced the charm of their 1950's ranch home and property with true DIY spirit...and a lot of elbow grease.
