At Home: Chez Poulet Coop & Chickens

Heatherbullardcoop-136

It's been quite a while since I first posted about our chicken coop. Actually, it's been over 2 years! I can't believe it's been that long. It's still one of my most popular posts and we continue to sell plans to the coop every day. It's been quite an adventure.

Over the weekend, I had some time to take new photos to share with you. Not much has changed...a few plants have been added, a new fence and some new "girls"....

We're often asked if we would change anything about our design and we're happy to report...no. It works well for the five hens we raise and has proven to be incredibly easy to clean. We just pull a trash bin up to the coop doors, scrape out the used shavings to add to the compost pile, then hose down the inside and let dry. Hope you enjoyed the little coop tour...thanks for stopping by.

If you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer them in the comments!
