I’m packing for an early flight tomorrow. I’ll be heading to the beautiful state of Tennessee to visit the famous Blackberry Farm and attend the International Biscuit Festival. That’s right, an entire festival devoted to biscuits! Can you imagine?
I’ll be sure to take lots of pics for you because….
If you know of any other “can’t miss” stops in the Knoxville area, I’d love to hear about them!
And I’ll be sharing some of my adventure on Instagram if you care to follow along.
See you in the South!
Later, this week, I'm headed to NYC with a few girlfriends to celebrate my birthday and take in the beauty of the city during the holidays. I've been looking forward to it for months. Finally, travel for pleasure! We have a long list of places to visit…unique shops, markets and antique stores…mostly locally owned, brick & mortars to support.
We also have a few reservations at some amazing restaurants!
Have you ever been or do you live in the city?
What are some of your favorite local or "non-touristy" favorites?
The weather forecast is chilly but thankfully, no snow is predicted. Although it's beautiful to look at…it can prove to be burdensome to walk through. And there'll be lots of walking. 😉
I plan on taking loads of photos to post later on the blog, but if you'd like to follow along, I'll be sharing daily images on my Instagram feed.

I've been organizing the thousands of photos on my hard drive and came across one of my favorite cell phone shots I took of the Eiffel Tower. We visited it several times at night because, well…it's just so magical with it's twinkling lights and gorgeous, moody skyline. Coming across the photo reminded me….
I also shot a little video so you can experience a bit of the magic for yourself. Enjoy!
